Absolutly Gutted -_-

Tonight I finished my 10 week dressmaking coarse.
I was making a skirt with out a pattern (because I'm a fool) and it has 3 layers. Said skirt fit find when it was first measured out and whatnot.
While doing the gathers it was discovered that it was slightly too big so I had to take it in a bit ... easy enough.

So last lesson today, was pretty mucvh finished just had a few things to do like do the hem on the lineing and put the hook and eye on.
Got home and I finished it :D I was sooo happy.
Went and put it on and guess what .... It's too bloody big ... by about an inch and a half ... O_o ...

Life hates me ¬_¬

So now I am just pinning an inch on either side and would have stiched em down but the damn neeedle on the sowing machine has snapped and I don't know how to fix it *sighs*
